Hancock Park is a wealthy, historic, urban community in the eastern portion of the Rancho La Brea area in Los Angeles, California, between Van Ness and La Brea Avenues, and Melrose Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard. Developed by the Hancock Family in the 1920s, and known for its location near the Miracle Mile and La Brea Tar Pits, the George C.
