We all have heard the stories of real estate agents, good and bad, who either made the transaction happen, or made it a disaster. But in the past, other than being fodder for cocktail parties and coffee houses, the information about those disastrous, or fabulous, real estate agents went no further.
Of course, if an agent breaks the law, or violates the code of ethics, he or she will suffer the consequences. But unfortunately, you who had to work with them had to suffer too.
And what about those stellar agents? What can be learned from them? How can new guidelines be written that incorporate the best of what an agent can be, and make all agents more of what they should be.
Here is your chance to sound off. A questionnaire is currently being offered that allows you to talk about agents, real estate transactions, and what is important to you. The data is anonymous, you need not even give an email address to participate. It takes less than 5 minutes, and the information will be used to set the standards for practicing real estate agents here in North America.
Have only negative things to say about your agent? We welcome you! It tells the industry where our weak points are. Have a fabulous agent, someone who should be cloned and given to every first-time home buyer? Tell us!
I have been a Realtor in Los Angeles for 34 years. One of the most important things I have found in my long career is that the consumer should set the bar, and high, for the standards in real estate. It uplifts the profession, and helps us all become better for the clients we serve. Please help us; your input is invaluable. And pass the survey on to a friend. The more responses, the better your next real estate transaction can be.

PS: Thank you for taking the time to answer our short questionnaire. Please note that we are thrilled to have your input and will not be collecting personal information. We hope you will take pride in playing a very important role in our focus group. The data collected here will be used to improve real estate agent information on the web, improve standards and shape future transactions. Again, thank you for your time.
